Instant Win prizes are based on odds that you configure and are awarded instantaneously.
For each prize, you can enter a specific quantity or set the quantity as unlimited. If you enter a specific quantity, based on your odds the prizes will be awarded until they’re out of stock.
You must enter a weight for your Instant Win prizes because these types of prizes are based on odds. The weight function influences the result and probability (odds) of winning each prize. The win percentage will be calculated automatically.
The formula for the win percentage is calculated as Prize Weight / Total Prize Weights.
I.e. If you set the weight as 0, the win percentage will be 0% and the prize will never be given away.
Keep in mind, there is also a weight for “No Winners” which alters the chance of not winning an Instant Win prize.
For example, if you set the weight for Prize X to 10 and the default weight 100 for No Winners is left unchanged, the win percentage for Prize X is 9.09% (10/110) and the No Winner percentage is 90.91% (100/110).
You can adjust the No Winners weight and the Prize Weights to reach your desired Win percentages.
For example, if Prize X has a 10% win percentage that means every time someone participates in your campaign, they have a 10% chance of winning. It does NOT mean that for every 10 players, 1 person will win.
If you would like only 5 people to win a certain prize, you can simply set the quantity to 5.
